Mr. Jacky Chan was graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Hong Kong and has been qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong since January 2010.
Prior to joining the Department of Justice (“DoJ”) as Government Counsel from 2011 to 2013, Mr. Chan has worked in civil litigation and qualified to be counsel-on-fiat for the DoJ.
Since April 2013, Mr. Chan has worked in various listed companies as legal counsel including but not limited to working as Group Legal Counsel and Named Company Secretary for a Hong Kong listed company from 2018 to 2020.
Since late 2020, Mr. Chan rejoined the DOJ as legal consultant for promotion of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) with emphasis on mediation.
His practice area includes corporate, commercial, finance, litigation and ADR.
