Isabella Chan

Dr. Isabella Chan is a seasoned lawyer with almost 30 years of experience in legal practice.

Dr. Chan obtained her legal certification from one of Hong Kong’s oldest universities. She also holds multiple postgraduate degrees from reputable universities in both the U.K. and China. Most notably, she has been awarded a Master of Laws by Peking University and a Doctorate Degree of Laws by the China University of Politics & Law.

Dr. Chan has extensive legal experience both in-house and in private practice. She has worked with government bodies, including the Hong Kong Department of Justice and Legislative Council. For that reason, her practice is broad and varied, spanning both civil and criminal litigation and includes transactional work relating to IP law, corporate law, and land law.

In addition to her law certification, Dr. Chan has also been credited as author in numerous academic publications and has written as a columnist for local newspapers.

Outside of the office, Dr. Chan devotes much of her spare time to a wide range of causes, including volunteer work in Hong Kong schools and other charitable organisations.

Dr. Chan is licensed to practice law in multiple jurisdictions, including Hong Kong, the Greater Bay area of the People’s Republic of China, the U.K., New Zealand, and Tasmania.
